This Christmas, NHS Borders Health Charity is asking for people once again to come together and join in with this years Tree of Light.

Everyone is invited to make a dedication in memory of someone special and with every dedication and donation made, a personalised message and photograph can be uploaded to our virtual Christmas Tree. For each dedication made the charity will send you a handcrafted decoration in the post (while stocks last) for you to hang on your own Christmas tree or to gift to those you are honouring. 

A special thank you to the Galashiels crafting group, the “Crafty Dafties” who have once again kindly given their time and materials to make the decorations.

Money raised from our Tree of Light campaign helps bring the spirit of Christmas to our patients with the money raised helping fund gifts to those who find themselves in hospital over the Christmas period. Donations will also go towards providing other patient comforts that help make someone’s time in hospital a little easier.

NHS Borders Health Charity provides a tree for Borders General Hospital each year.

You are invited to join us on Tuesday 1st December for the big switch on.

Starting at 6.00pm refreshments will be served in the Chaplaincy Centre at the BGH, followed by the big switch on and Christmas carols from 6.30pm just outside by the tree.
