Karen Hamilton Awarded OBE

Karen Hamilton, former Chair of NHS Borders and NHS Borders Health Charity, has been awarded an OBE in the King’s Birthday Honours List 2026 for services to services to Health and to the community in the Scottish Borders.

Not only has Karen devoted her time, expertise, and compassion to our own charity, but she has also supported many other local charities across the Borders over the years.

We offer Karen our congratulations and are delighted that she has been recognised at national level — an honour she thoroughly deserves.
