Firefighters Car Wash Raises Donations

We were delighted to welcome Garry Simpson and Davy Whitecross from Sighthill and Newcraighall Fire Stations, who stopped by to share the fantastic results of their recent charity car wash. Their team had a brilliant day — and thanks to the generosity of their community, they raised an amazing £1,097.55.

A huge thank‑you goes to all the firefighters who rolled up their sleeves, grabbed their buckets and sponges, and gave their time to support children and families in hospital. Your enthusiasm and kindness made the event a real success.

And of course, thank you to everyone who came along, had their car washed, and donated.
